Comments:
I have been using Driven Racing oil in my custom built EJ257 race engine for two full seasons of racing. It's a high compression, high boost engine, used for Rally racing, time trials, hill climb, rallycross, and autocross. While racing for 20+ minute stages or track sessions, I could see 220F coolant temps, and oil pressure was perfect the whole time. I was not logging oil temps. Subaru engines failures are often due to spinning rod and main bearings. My engine builder recommended Driven Racing Oil. I wanted to use it for a couple years before leaving a review. I have been seriously impressed. Engine wear has been reduced over every oil I've used in the past (Motul, Mobil 1, Eneos, yes even Rotella). They may be fine for daily drivers, but when it comes to making your Subaru engine bearings last one track, I recommend Driven Racing Oil to everyone. I change the oil in my race car every 300-1500 miles, depending on how many of those miles are racing. Rally is tough, lots of street driving, followed by 5-50 miles of dust or snow, -20F or 110F ambient temperatures. Thank you for offering this great line of racing oils to the public.
